Meet Eeyore (ID 69435)! He is in adorable 5-year-old pit bull mix. Eeyore can be a bit shy and nervous in new situations and with new people, but once he is comfortable Eeyore is very sweet! Eeyore is such a fun guy to play with! He loves to play chase, and will zoom around with you for as long as you’ll let him! He prefers affection and time with his humans over playing fetch, and loves to be scratched all over. Eeyore is very treat-motivated and will sit for you if you have something tasty for him. It seems that Eeyore may be deaf, so he is looking for a dedicated owner who will work with him on learning hand signals. Because he may not hear you call him, Eeyore needs to be kept on leash while on walks. He needs to be the only pet in the home so he can have all your love and attention to himself. He needs a home (no apartments please) with a securely fenced in yard so he can stay safe while playing outside and not wander off. Because he is shy, Eeyore needs a home without kids under the age of 16. You can meet Eeyore and other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open six days a week.
