We could not care for animals in need without the efforts and commitment of compassionate community members like you.

If you’re interested in hosting a fundraiser to benefit Kitsap Humane Society, please review and complete our Third-Party Fundraising Application and email it to our Events & Outreach Assistant Jocelyn Horton at jhorton@kitsap-humane.org.

Ways to Fundraise for the Animals:

If you love animals and want to support them by hosting a fundraiser, there are many ways to contribute! Here are a few of the most popular fundraising activities:

  • Host a Facebook fundraiser! Whether it’s to celebrate your birthday or just because you love animals, ask your friends and family to donate to your Facebook fundraiser to support the animals at Kitsap Humane Society. You can get started by going to Facebook’s fundraising page.
  • Hold a garage sale, bake sale, or car wash and post signs saying that the proceeds will benefit animals at the Kitsap Humane Society.
  • Have a dinner party or cocktail hour and invite friends to make a donation.
  • Hold a pet food/supply drive in your community. You can find our most needed items on our Wish List!

We encourage you to take pictures during your fundraiser and send them to us! We occasionally feature our pawtastic pals on our Facebook page and would love to include your story.

Third-Party Fundraising — Important Notes!

We are excited to have you fundraising for animals in need! Before you begin, please review the below notes regarding Kitsap Humane Society and third-party fundraisers. For a complete list of our third-party fundraising guidelines, please review our Third-Party Fundraising Application.

  • Kitsap Humane Society is unable to provide planning services for third-party fundraisers due to our limited staffing and ongoing projects. When you fundraise for the animals, you’ll handle all aspects of the event, including organizing, funding, planning, promoting, and staffing your fundraiser.
  • Third-party fundraisers are responsible for their own promotions. Due to the volume of requests we receive year-round, our own fundraising efforts, and our privacy policy, we are not able to provide marketing services of any kind.
  • Some events and fundraisers are not a good fit for Kitsap Humane Society. Each third-party fundraiser will be considered individually. Events resulting in the sale, auction, or raffling of animals are strictly prohibited.
