Volunteer

We need you!

Kitsap Humane Society has an extensive and strong volunteer program, with volunteers working with almost every single department within the shelter.

Volunteers are needed for a variety of positions and help with all kinds of duties at the shelter and off-site. While most volunteer positions involve animal handling, KHS also has plenty of volunteer duties that are suitable for people who don’t want to handle animals.

KHS accepts volunteers 16 years old and up.  Limited positions are also available for kids 13-15 years old.
