Hello, my name is Ellie (Intake #60089) and I’m a gorgeous, 2-year-old petite white and brindle Whippet/Hound mix ready for a new home. I’m super cute and super sweet. I can be a little nervous in new situations and can take some time to adjust to new places and new friends, but once I’m comfortable I transform into an energetic oversized puppy who is very affectionate. I really like other dogs and will play, play and play some more before cuddling up with my dog friends. I would love a home with at least one other dog so I can have a constant companion to show me the ropes. I have lots of energy so I’m looking for an active home that can give me lots of walks, hikes or playtime in the yard. I’m currently in a foster home where I’m learning all the skills and rules of being an inside dog, like house training and crate training. I’m looking for a home (no apartments) with a fenced yard and no young kids under 12 or cats. I’m available for adoption while in foster care.
