The first day of the ASPCA Challenge came to an end with 30 completed adoptions! The mood throughout the day was high energy, and everyone was excited to prove we really are the little shelter that could. Our animals knew something exciting was happening, hoping that today would be the day they would find their forever homes. Day two was a day of rest, and even though we are closed on Tuesdays, four animals found their way to their new adoptive homes, and two were returned to their owners. Six animals in all made their way outdoors into the sunshine. What will day three bring? Sunshine, smiles, and forever homes. Plus, it’s Woof Wednesday, so all of our main kennel residents are 50% off!!! Judging by the stacks of adoptions waiting to be processed by our three customer service employees, today is going to be a great day. Here is sweet Frenchie – our new Pet of the Week. She’s thinking, “there’s no place like home.”
