It’s been a big couple of weeks at the Russ & Linda Young Veterinary Lifesaving Center (VLC), where every day reveals a new surprise and brings us a little closer to realizing a dream. This week? Safety’s been on the agenda with the installation of the interior sprinklers and fire alarms, as well as the security system. And yes, there are now overhead lights installed throughout the facility. Just yesterday, workers began installation of the flooring and today they begin grinding and polishing the concrete floors.

At the other—much louder—end of the campus, the conveyance swales for the Barn have been installed as have the water and sewer stubs. Come party for pets in need during Community Night at The 19th Hole Bar and Grill this Wednesday, June 21, from 6 to 9 pm. The Big Bear Band will perform at this 21+ party and proceeds benefit shelter pets at KHS.
