Pet of the Week — Kit Kat

November 22, 2021

Meet Kit Kat! Kit Kat is an affectionate 10-year-old tabby who is looking for the purr-fect retirement home! This adorable boy is an absolute lovebug and just wants to snuggle up next to you and nap! Kit Kat would adore a hidey bed in his future home, or a nice quiet bookshelf to sleep on in his new home, as those are his favorite napping places. Kit Kat always greets with the softest, most gentle meow – the sweetest thing to come home to! Kit Kat loves pets and attention and is so easygoing. Kit Kat has been diagnosed with diabetes and requires insulin injections twice a day. His insulin costs about $50 a month, and KHS will provide two bottles of insulin upon adoption to help get adopters started. He is not on a prescription diet, and his diabetes is effectively managed with a diet of Friskies pate wet food, an affordable product that can be found in any pet store. Because Kit Kat can be a little sassy some days, he would prefer that all of his family members be over the age of 6. If you’re looking for the perfect pal to binge your favorite show with or cuddle up with after a long day, Kit Kat is your boy! If you think this marvelous man would be a great companion, come to our shelter and take him home today!

You can meet Kit Kat and other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open for walk-up appointments on a first-come, first-served basis.
