Pet of the Week – Tiger

April 17, 2019

Meet Tiger (81251)! He is a long-haired brown tabby with a sweet and gentle personality. One of his favorite pastimes is lounging around on tall cat trees. Once he trusts you, he enjoys soft pets, being brushed, and talked to in a calm and relaxing manner. When he first arrived at our shelter, he was very intimidated by the busy cattery. Tiger is currently in a foster home that can provide him with a quieter and calmer environment for him to get all the chin scratches and snuggles that he pleases. In his new home, he’d like to have a slow transition with a cat-savvy adopter who’s willing to give him time and space to build his confidence. Tiger will give you soft blinks as a first sign that he is beginning to trust you. As a senior kitty, Tiger will need regular vet visits to keep him happy and healthy. Because Tiger is a bashful boy, he’d do best in a calm, quiet home without kids under 16. Can you open your heart and home to this sweet boy? If so, please e-mail Katherine at kbritton@kitsap-humane.org to request an adoption application. You can meet Tiger and other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open six days a week.
