Meet Wookee (Intake #62175). She is a beautiful Persian mix with a luxurious fluffy black coat. This 10-year-old kitty is looking for a relaxing “retirement home” where she can spend her golden years. She’s a very sweet girl, but is very scared at our shelter and is having a hard time with all the hustle and bustle, so she is currently spending some time in an office so she can get some extra TLC. In the office she is relaxing and coming out of her shell, and is showing us what a lovely personality she has! She is looking for a quiet home that will shower her with love, and where her new family will be patient enough to let her settle in at her own pace. Because she doesn’t like loud noises or chaos, she would do best in a home without kids. Her previous owner also stated that she would do best as an only pet because other cats and dogs stress her out. Wookee loves sitting and watching birds out the window, loves cat nip, and really enjoys being brushed; her favorite thing of all is being petted and snuggling on your lap!
