Thank you to everyone who immediately responded to volunteer, foster and rescue our mini pony, Scarlett. Scarlett will be leaving KHS early next week and will be under the care of Center Valley Animal Rescue, a no kill rescue ranch in Quilcene. The number of animals KHS has been able to save and the great progress we’ve achieved in welfare programs, wouldn’t have been possible without the abundant community support we continue to receive. Rescues, such as Center Valley Animal Rescue, are just as crucial to our life saving mission. The care and compassion displayed by our community to save the lives of animals is a great reflection of the values in which we live. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.
