Merry Mutts and Meows Adoption Event
KHS will have adoptable animals looking for homes at the Merry Mutts and Meows Adoption Event, hosted by Pawsitive Alliance! The event will be on Saturday December 10th from 11am to 3pm in Magnuson Park, Seattle. There will be adoptable dogs, cats, and kittens. The event is located at: 7400 Sand Point Way NE, Hangar 30 in Magnuson Park, Seattle.

Have you been naughty or nice? Come see Santa for a very small price! KHS’ Annual Santa Paws Pet and Family portraits is just around the corner! Each event costs $20 per family and the pictures will be digital file only (our photographers will be sending participants from each event a link to view and download their photos. Drink beer, feel good and save animals with Kitsap Humane Society and Downpour Brewing on December 13 at our December Pints for Pets Event! $1 from every pour will be donated to KHS. This will be an awesome Pints for Pets to bring your dog to because prizes will be awarded for the largest dog, smallest dog, the fluffiest dog and the dog with the best tricks! Judging will begin at 6:30. Dogs and well behaved children are welcome!

It's a Whisker Wonderland! Join us on Saturday December 17th and Sunday December 18th to find your new best friend just in time for the holidays! Adoption fees for cats will be 1/2 off and all other adoption fees will be discounted by $25. Adoption Hours are 12pm to 5:30pm (new applications must be submitted by 4:30pm). Our standard adoption process applies.

The Kitsap Humane Society will be closed on Saturday December 24th and Sunday December 25th for the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day holidays. We will be open for adoptions at the Silverdale Petsmart on Saturday December 24th from 11am to 4pm. The shelter will re-open for adoptions on Monday December 26th at noon.

Happy New Year! Start out 2017 on the right paw by adopting a new forever friend at our Bark in the Mew Year adoption event! Shelter Closed
The Kitsap Humane Society will be closed on Sunday January 1st for the New Years Day Holiday. We will re-open for adoptions on Monday January 2nd at noon.

Volunteer Orientation for new Kitsap Humane Society volunteers will be held in the KHS Training Center at 3:00pm, followed by a choice of either Canine 101 or Feline 101 training class at 4:00pm. Space is limited, so please make sure to RSVP at volunteerdept@kitsap-humane.org prior to attending. You must submit a volunteer application before attending Orientation.

Please join us for another fun Pints for Pets event at Bainbridge Island Brewing Company on January 10, 2017. 1$ from every pour will be donated to Kitsap Humane Society.
