Petsmart Adoptions
We will be at the Silverdale Petsmart on Saturday December 24th from 11am to 4pm. Stop by and adopt your new forever friend just in time for the holidays! The shelter will be closed for the holiday, but will reopen on Monday December 26th at noon.

Happy New Year! Start out 2017 on the right paw by adopting a new forever friend at our Bark in the Mew Year adoption event! Adult cats will be discounted 1/2 off their adoption fees, and adult dogs will be discounted $25 off their adoption fees. Adoption Hours are 12pm to 5:30pm (new applications must be submitted by 4:30pm). Our standard adoption process applies.

Shelter Closed
The Kitsap Humane Society will be closed on Sunday January 1st for the New Years Day Holiday. We will re-open for adoptions on Monday January 2nd at noon.

Volunteer Orientation for new Kitsap Humane Society volunteers will be held in the KHS Training Center at 3:00pm, followed by a choice of either Canine 101 or Feline 101 training class at 4:00pm. Space is limited, so please make sure to RSVP at volunteerdept@kitsap-humane.org prior to attending. You must submit a volunteer application before attending Orientation.
