Great Things Are Happening This Week at KHS!

October 5, 2010

  • KHS Volunteers Donate Dog Leashes to Law Enforcement.

From time to time Officers find themselves needing an Emergency Dog Leash to keep an animal safe while waiting for Pet Owners or Animal Control.

Volunteers are visiting Police Departments this week to drop off Dog Leashes. By end of week most Law Enforcement Cars in our County will have a quick leash in case they need them.

  • A possible Sheriff Boyer Sighting at our Shelter? Maybe!
  • “Pulling: Stop the Madness!” Training

This Saturday, October 9th, 2010 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. KHS’s Training Center. (Pls call shelter for info).

  • Annex Is Ready For Move-In

Some of our Personel will be moving into their new offices across from Dog Runs. Thank you to all volunteers helping with move.

  • We have exciting building projects going on at our Shelter!

New bigger better fenced play areas for our furry residents.

More PARKING!! YAY! (Please park out on street while these projects are going on).

Stay tuned! More blogs, information and pictures to come.
