Fore the Animals Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Trophy Lake Golf & Casting in Port Orchard. It will be a 1 p.m. shotgun start in a scramble format, with contests, giveaways, ongoing raffles throughout the day, followed by dinner and awards. Cost is $110 per player or $400 per foursome – a $40 savings!

In addition to helping KHS, this tournament will honor Ellie, Trophy Lake’s course dog who passed earlier this year. Ellie spent every day on the course, whether she was lying in the sun next to the putting green, grabbing a bite (or bone) after lunch outside the club house, getting a ride on a golf cart or sitting on “Ellie’s landing,” as it was called, greeting the guests as they pulled up. An important part of the experience at Trophy Lake since 1999, it’s an honor to pay tribute to a companion dog who touched so many lives.
