Check out the following local events and stop by our information booths and learn more about Kitsap Humane Society:
July 8-10 – America’s Family Pet Expo at the Puyallup Fair and Event Center. Visit KHS’s information booth where we will have animals available for adoption.

July 9 – Bring your pet to get microchipped at our microchip clinic from noon-2 p.m. at Pet Town in Port Orchard.

July 16 – Visit us at the Port Orchard Farmer’s Market. Enjoy a day along Port Orchard’s Waterfront and stop by our booth and say, Hi!
Also on July 16, KHS is joining in the fun at the Pet Fair on Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. We will be bringing along several shelter residents that are in need of their forever homes. Please note, base access is required to attend this event.

July 23 – KHS and its Animal Rescue department are partnering with the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) for Wags and Badges. The informational event is from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at KCSO’s location inside Kitsap Mall across from the Food Court.
Also, on July 23, we will be attending Summer Fest hosted on Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor at Trident Lakes. Attendees must have base access. The event, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., includes food, games, music and valuable resources for military families.

July 30-31 – The end of July means Whaling Days fun in Silverdale. Not only will we have an information booth at the event, but we will also be participating in the Silverdale Lions Grand Parade at 10 a.m. July 30. You won’t want to miss our furry friends in their “Adopt Me” vests!
