July 30-31– Stop by our Whaling Days  booth! You won’t want to miss the Silverdale Dandy Lions Grand Parade at 10 a.m. Saturday. KHS staff and volunteers will be walking in the parade with a variety of canine friends.

Aug. 1 – Follow the yellow brick road and help us celebrate the start of the ASPCA $100K Challenge: There’s No Place Like Home!  We invite you to bring the entire family out for an afternoon of fun featuring a bounce house courtesy of wabouncehouse.com, popcorn, door prizes, Bella Bella Cupcakes, ice cream by Viking Feast, coffee and treats by Treeroot Espresso and Edibles and more! The event is from Noon-6:30 p.m.

Aug. 6 – Visit us at Woofstock , 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Todd Field on the campus of the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma.  Rescue and adoption groups from all around the state will join pet related businesses and non-profits, along with great local musicians for a day of adoptions, music, shopping and fun for the whole family.

Aug. 6-7 – KHS is partnering with McBride’s Hallmark in Silverdale (next to Safeway) for a fun adoption event to help celebrate the ASPCA $100K Challenge. There will be plenty of KHS residents available for adoption, a raffle, refreshments and more! Stop by 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Noon-4 p.m. Sunday.

Aug. 8-10 – Take me out to the ballgame! Stop by and say “Hi!” at our info booth at the Kitsap BlueJackets games!
