Transformation to be Central Topic of Kitsap Humane Society Annual Meeting

SILVERDALE, WA – Major improvements in Kitsap Humane Society’s operations and results with animals, and a vision for an expanded facility will be the main topics to be discussed at KHS’ upcoming Annual Meeting, to be held on Saturday, April 9, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Silverdale Beach Hotel, 3073 NW Bucklin Hill Rd, Silverdale, WA 98383. The public is invited to attend.

Director of Shelter Medicine Dr. Jennifer Stonequist, Animal Welfare Director Natalie Smith and Executive Director Eric Stevens will share how KHS has transformed its animal welfare operations and results over the last two years and will provide an overview of a vision for an expanding the organization’s shelter facility to enhance the shelter’s live saving services. The Board of Directors also will elect new officers for the 2016-17 Board term.

Additionally, the 2015 Kitsap Humane Society Annual Report will be distributed, and there will be an opportunity for audience questions and comments.
