Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer with Kitsap Humane Society!

Kitsap Humane Society has a growing volunteer program, with volunteers involved within several different departments at the shelter, contributing to the life-saving work that is being done! We are currently onboarding volunteers for dog walking, feline socialization, data entry, vet services assistance, adoption support, and more!

KHS currently accepts volunteers for the following age ranges:

Youth Volunteers: Ages 13 – 14

  • Limited roles are available: Dog Walking, Feline Socialization, Small Animal Enrichment, Laundry, and Dishes.
  • Join our Caring for Critters after-school program! More info below.

Please note: We are working to develop further opportunities for the young animal advocates that you might have in your life! To be added to our waitlist for further education opportunities for youth participants, please email volunteerdept@kitsap-humane.org. We will reach out to you once we are ready to launch some of the exciting new programs we are currently developing!
