DESCRIPTION:Clear the Shelters is coming to Kitsap Humane Society! \nOn Saturday\, August 19th we’re hoping the community will help us clear the shelter! \nAll Adoption Fees will be discounted!\n– Adult cats: FREE adoptions!!!\n– All other pets (kittens\, puppies\, adult dogs\, small animals): 1/2 off adoption fees!!! \nWe will have food vendors onsite for the community to enjoy:\nTaqueria La Rancherita\nRay & Dee’s Chamorro Food\nKurdish Kitchen Cuisine\nLaughing Dog Kitchen \nAdoption hours are 12-5:30pm\, but new applications must be submitted by 4:30pm. \nClear the Shelters initiative is a community-driven nationwide pet adoption campaign that seeks to match deserving animals with loving and permanent homes. The effort also raises awareness about the importance of pet adoption and the overcrowding issues that local animal shelters typically experience in the summer months because of spring litters. Clear the Shelters is spearheaded by NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations\, a division of NBCUniversal that includes 30 NBC and Telemundo-owned stations. \n \n
