Save the date(s) because we have a fun year ahead of us!

Although we will have monthly Pints for Pets and Takeover events between now and then, our main event season kicks off on Fri., May 18, 2018 at Trophy Lake Golf & Casting with FORE! The Animals Presented by the Latitude 48 Group—Ameriprise Financial.  Last year, FORE! The Animals saw 132 participants and raised over $22,000. With registration opening mid-March, this year’s FORE! The Animals is going to be even bigger and better! We anticipate a full field of golfers (most with their canine companions) and will have fun raffle prizes, an exciting Ball Drop event, and a fun, rousing game of golf!

On July 21, 2018, our 25^th Annual PetsWALK Presented by Poulsbo Animal Clinic returns to Downtown Poulsbo. We anticipate 500 participants at this charity 5k (with a 1-mile option) which can be done at whatever pace feels best to you! Prior to PetsWALK, our participants will fundraise to earn some neat prizes! In 2017, we had over 150 people raising money for shelter pets and together they raised over $20,000 and earned leashes, water bottles, tote bags, sweatshirts, and more! Following the 5k, PetsWALK participants enjoy mingling with our sponsors at our bustling post-race pet-expo. PetsWALK is vibrant, fun and is an event you don’t want to miss!

Our 25^th Annual Animal Krackers Presented by Peninsula Subaru is Sept. 29, 2018 at Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort. This celebratory night of glamour and prestige is the highlight of our year! In 2017, we had over 460 guests and raised over $370,000 for shelter pets in need. We are so excited to celebrate the 25^th year of Animal Krackers and reflect upon years past while looking forward to what’s ahead for Kitsap Humane Society. Mark your calendar! This is a night you won’t want to miss.

Our Online Auction returns Oct. 5 through Oct. 15 and will feature hundreds of gift cards, experiences, and unique items to bid on! In 2017, our Online Auction raised over $20,000 for the animals. We hope to see you at one, or all, of our fundraising events this year! Through the support of community members like you, we cared for over 7,000 animals in 2017. Help us help them by volunteering, fostering, donating, adopting, and participating in our events! They don’t need much, but they do need you!
