Kitsap Humane Society : Dedicated to Respecting All Animal Life

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Kitsap Humane Society. Volunteers are a very important part of the success at any shelter. Just last year, volunteers donated more than 37,000 hours to the staff and animals at KHS, working in every department including Animal Care, Foster Care and Customer Service.

To volunteer, you must be:

At least 16 years of age to volunteer independently.
Between the ages of 10 and 15 years of age to volunteer with a parent or adult.
Willing to commit to at least 6 hours per month for six months (We’re sorry, we can not accommodate short term volunteer work such as 10 hour service requirements for school).
