Beautiful Hera is our Pet of the Week

Hi, my name is Hera (Intake #18399), which I think is fitting, because I definitely have the looks of a goddess. Though I haven’t always been so “purrfectly” poised. I was not happy when I first came to the shelter in February. Now that I’ve met all the nice people around here and have spent some time living in their offices, I’m much more comfortable. But I’m not “home” yet. I’m still searching for my forever family. Could you help me find them? Please come meet me and other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open six days a week.

Stop in and meet Maybelly

Hi, my name is Maybelly (Intake #14827) and I’ve been told I’m just magnificent. That’s probably because I’m such a sweet girl. All I really need in life is a lot of love and affection. Honestly, I would prefer you pay me for my company in head scratches. Oh, and I’d be happiest as the only pet in my new home. That way, I can have you all to myself! Please come meet me and other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open six days a week.

Get your pet microchipped!

Help ensure a safe return by microchipping your pet. Our next microchip clinic is Aug. 21, 3-4 p.m. Please enter through the admissions door located on the right side (if facing building). Cost per microchip is $30. Cash only please. Microchips are about the size of a grain of rice and contain information that can be accessed by an animal shelter or vet to find the owner of a lost pet.

Ace is the man!

Hi, my name is Ace (Intake #19454) and I’ve been at the shelter since April first. But I’m no fool! I know lots of commands, like “sit,” “come,” and “drop.” I’ll do just about anything if you turn it into a game. I love to play! I like to snuggle too. All I really need is some attention, so I don’t get bored. I would love to join you for a swim, a car ride or game of catch. What do you say? Please come meet me and other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open six days a week.
