Spartacus would love to meet you!

Hi, my name is Spartacus (Intake #8076) and I’ve been through a lot in the two years since I was born. I’ve been surrendered to the shelter twice because my people were moving! I’ve tried to be a warrior through it all, but I really want my next house to be my forever home. Don't you just love my beautiful Abyssinian coat? I’m super sweet, though I take my time warming up to new folks because of my past. I’d just love to give you a chance! What do you say? Please come meet me and other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open six days a week.

KHS Closed Labor Day

Kitsap Humane Society will be closed Monday, Sept. 3 in observance of Labor Day. The shelter will re-open at noon Wednesday, Sept. 5.

Got Tickets?

Join us in saving lives by attending our 19th annual dinner auction, Animal Krackers, on September 29 at the Kitsap Conference Center at Bremerton Harborside. We look forward to celebrating with you the successes of the past year and hope to raise the necessary funds to help rescue, rehabilitate and rehome many more adoptable pets in the future. All proceeds go directly toward the care of animals in need. Click here to purchase your tickets.

Meet Milly!

Hi, my name is Milly (Intake #22055) and I’m a calm, happy girl looking for a comfy retirement gig where I can specialize in being your best friend! All I ask in return for my affection is that you pay me in treats. Could that be arranged? I’ve been told I’ve got lots of pep in my step, I think because I enjoy walks, especially in the summer sunshine. Let’s enjoy it together! Please come meet me and other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open six days a week.

Beautiful Hera is our Pet of the Week

Hi, my name is Hera (Intake #18399), which I think is fitting, because I definitely have the looks of a goddess. Though I haven’t always been so “purrfectly” poised. I was not happy when I first came to the shelter in February. Now that I’ve met all the nice people around here and have spent some time living in their offices, I’m much more comfortable. But I’m not “home” yet. I’m still searching for my forever family. Could you help me find them? Please come meet me and other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open six days a week.
