Don’t miss your chance to get your family’s picture taken with your pet and Santa Claus! This year, we are hosting two Posing Pets with Santa events. The first is slated for Saturday, December 1 at Bay Hay and Feed, located at 10355 NE Valley Road on Bainbridge Island. Or you can bring your pets out Sunday, December 9 to Kitsap Humane Society, 9167 Dickey Road NW in Silverdale. Ellen is our Pet of the Week!

Hi, my name is Ellen (Intake #22603). The staff and volunteers here are scratching their heads wondering why I still haven’t been adopted! I’m a super sweet gal. I know you will fall in love with me too! Playing ball is my favorite pastime. I will always drop the ball at your feet for you to throw again. I’m attentive and eager to please. I’ve received some great Open Paw training during my time here. If you give me a chance, I’ll prove it to you! I’ve been waiting patiently for my forever home since July. Do you think we can be friends?

Sweet Pea is our Pet of the Week!

Hi, my name is Sweet Pea (Intake #20561) and I’m a calm, friendly guy looking for a comfy retirement gig where I can stretch my legs inside and outdoors while I enjoy my golden years. I’m looking for a happy, balanced home where I can receive lots of attention, but also have freedom to roam. That sounds like the perfect combination. I’d be most at home as the only pet in my forever family. So, what do you say? Please come meet me!

He will be your forever Pookie!

Hi, my name is Pookie (Intake# 21377). I dream of the day I will go to my forever family. I’m the sweetest boy you ever did meet. I was brought to the shelter because my former owner could no longer care for me. I can be a bit bashful at first, but I’m quick to warm up to you. My previous owner kept me in a crate for most of the day and night, so I’m really looking forward to finding a family that can provide me with the attention and exercise that I crave.
