Community Adoptions Outreach Assistant - Part Time

The Community Adoptions Outreach Assistant is responsible for the effective coordination, supervision and implementation of off-site adoption activities and events with animals available for adoption at the various KHS’s community partner businesses. This position requires strong organizational, planning and communication skills; and the ability to properly care for and handle animals transported to and from various places.

Animal Socialization Assistant - Part Time

Job Description (PDF)

The Animal Socialization Assistant works closely with the Behavior and Training (BAT) Coordinator to coordinate and schedule feline and canine behavior evaluations, group training classes for the Behavior and Training Department. Responsible for monitoring overall animal welfare. Assists in the development and implementation of public and staff education, class curriculum and shelter behavior modification programs within the KHS University model.
