Pet of the Week – Simon

May 30, 2017

Meet big Simon (ID 63960)! He is a hefty 6-year-old gray and white tabby with a big heart. This big guy is a huge lover who loves being pet and brushed from head to toe. He loves attention of any kind and will greet you with enthusiasm. This kitty is gentle and laid back. In our Cattery, Simon’s favorite pastime is to perch near the window and watch the world go by. Our vet team found that Simon suffers from a condition that causes his urinary tract to become inflamed when he’s stressed, causing him to have blood in his urine. Poor Simon is very stressed at the shelter, so he is currently on anti-inflammatory medication to help keep him healthy. He is looking for a calm, loving, stress-free home so he can relax and get healthy again. So he is in need of a calm home without small kids and without dogs. All he needs is attention from his new family and lots of love. If you’re looking for a laid back and happy big cat, Simon is perfect for you! You can meet Simon and other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open six days a week.
